Free Elgar Society Membership

Honouring the memory of Edward Elgar and promoting a world-wide interest in his life and music.

The Elgar Society is running a promotion in conjunction with The Elgar Birthplace Museum to offer free membership to the largest composer organisation in Britain.

Paying visitors to the Elgar Birthplace Museum will be entitled to free membership of the Elgar Society on completion of a membership form.  All you need to do is to ask to join the Elgar Society when purchasing your Museum admission ticket.

The Elgar Society was formed by a group of Elgarian enthusiasts in Malvern in 1951.  In that year the first formal meeting was held with Sir Adrian Boult being elected President.  Since then the Society has not looked back and has grown into the largest composer organisation in Britain.  It has formed a close relationship with the Elgar Birthplace Museum in Broadheath and a proportion of each member's subscription is paid annually to support the museum's work.

This offer is available until the end of 2012 and does not apply to membership renewals.
